BenQ brings Full HD projector with 4000 ANSI lumens

BenQ has introduced a projector with full HD resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, a brightness of 4,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 50,000:1. The SP890 is available in April for a suggested retail price of 5999 euros.

To the connections of the beamer include HDMI 1.3, a mini-USB port and Ethernet, which can be used with the function Crestron Control LAN. As a lens adjustment (Lens shift) is done manually by vertically and horizontally by 125 percent, 41 percent, the manufacturer of a keystone considers unnecessary.

The power consumption is a maximum of 440 watts in standby it falls to below 1 Watt. Benq specifies a noise level below 36 dB (A) in standard mode and below 33 dB (A) in Eco mode. The economy mode extends the life of the 300-watt lamp from 2000 to 3000 hours.
